Cow BBreeding Unit

The barn has twenty Free Stalls with a head-to-head single row cubicle made from prefabricated hot-dipped galvanized steel size 4.5m x 1.20m with padded matting and a Milking parlour. The design has been arranged in such a way that with proper traffic, animals can move freely inside and sometimes also between the shelter and an outside yard.
A hot-dipped galvanized self-locking headlock with a simple and compact latch operation has been custom fabricated across the feeding alley for natural grazing. Two nos indigenous automatic SS304 indigenous Grade water trough (2.1m x 0.5m) with float valve has been installed for cattle drinking.
A hand scrapper and wheelbarrow have been provided for manual cleaning purposes. Hydrant points with temporary shifting pipeline arrangements are installed for cow bathing. Our electrical engineers have designed and installed the entire electrification and illumination for the barn. GFS designed & fabricated microprocessor-based environmental control panels with humidity & temperature sensors, cyclic timers have been used to run the climate controls and illumination automatically.

Cow Comfort:
The Schurr rotating cow brush imported from Germany has been installed to clean and groom the cow’s coat. The cattle brush activates automatically when the cow walks against the brushes.
Our imported E-sense premium PC based cow monitoring system from Israel has been installed to evaluate the reproductive, health, nutrition and wellbeing status of each cow. Each cow has E-sense ear tags and the rich data is collected from the long-range antenna eliminating the guesswork and inconsistency .
